The Matterhorn

Zermatt, Switzerland

If you love to be in the mountains, then Switzerland should definitely be near the top of your list of places to visit. The Alps in Europe are incredibly beautiful, and Switzerland is right in the middle of them. One of my favorite places in Switzerland is the stunning town of Zermatt. The town is a magnet for skiers, climbers, and hikers, who flock to Zermatt each year to explore the beautiful mountains that surround the city.

One of the most infamous of these mountains is the incredible Matterhorn. It’s craggily peak will mesmerize you with its beauty. Even if you aren’t a climber or hiker, there are trains that take you up into the Alps so that you can get a close-up view of this stunning peak.
