The Devil’s Throat at Iguazu Falls

I took this photograph at the spectacular Devil’s Throat viewpoint in the Iguazú National Park in Argentina. Regarding my Instagram travel photography, this photo is one of my favorites.
Roughly 80 percent of the waterfalls at Iguazu Falls are on the Argentinian side, with the remaining 20 percent in Brazil. The number of waterfalls varies throughout the year depending on the amount of rain. Depending on the time of year you visit, there will be between 150 to over 300 unique waterfalls in this incredible waterfall system to enjoy.
While you get the best panoramic views of Iguazu Falls from the Brazilian side, the Devil’s Throat viewpoint on the Argentinian side is one of the most popular viewpoints at the falls.
Devil’s Throat is one of the largest and most incredible sections of Iguazu Falls. Not only do you get drenched from the large mist, but you can feel the power of the falls reverberate through you as you peer out over the precipice.
Definitely a bucket list destination!
