Understanding the New Cuba Travel Restrictions

There was some very significant travel news last week and I wanted to take a moment to cover that news in order to keep all of my followers informed.  In case you haven’t heard, the United States implemented some significant travel restrictions on travel to Cuba which may affect any trips that you have planned or were going to plan to Cuba.  In this article, I am going to explain what the travel ban means, what travel it effects and who will be affected, as well as explain whether or not you will need to cancel any plans you have made to travel to Cuba.

Friday Sound-Off: Are Antimalarial Medications Worth Taking?

It is a question that I have asked myself a few times before traveling internationally.  Do I take an antimalarial and deal with the sickness that is often a side-effect, or do I forgo the antimalarial and increase my odds of getting Malaria?  The answer to that question seems pretty straight-forward, and it probably is.  However, you would be surprised at how many people actually choose to not take an antimalarial before their trip.
