So far in my countdown, I have covered some of Europe’s most iconic cities, most beautiful coastlines, and most breathtaking mountain villages. I have covered everything from some of Europe’s, if not the world’s, largest cities to some of Earth’s smallest islands. In my final installment, I cover my Top 10 destinations in Europe to visit.
In this installment, I will continue counting down to my top destination in Europe by covering destinations 11-20 on my list. To be honest, the destinations in this installment are some of my absolute favorite travel spots in Europe. Truth be told, I have so many favorite spots in Europe that it was extremely difficult for me to narrow this list down to just my top fifty.
I have already covered some truly spectacular destinations in the first two installments of my list of the 50 Top European Destinations, so make sure you check those articles out as well. In this installment, I will be highlighting some wonderful destinations that you may not have considered visiting in Europe but are quickly becoming some of the world’s most popular tourist spots.
In the first installment of my list of the 50 Top Cities in Europe to Visit, I covered a range of European cities that I would recommend visiting. There was everything from small Nordic villages to iconic European capitols for you to consider. In this installment, I will be covering cities 31-40 on my list and my guess is that you will recognize quite a few of these names.
When I was a kid, I used to look thru the National Geographic magazines and picture what it would be like to visit some of the faraway places that I saw on those pages. Many of those places that I dreamed of exploring were beautiful cities and small towns throughout the continent of Europe. Among the things that Europe is not in short supply of are beautiful cities with a rich history and enchanting small towns that look like they come right out of storybooks. Throw a dart at a map of Europe and chances are that you will hit one. Better yet, make sure you follow this series of articles as I am going to countdown the 50 Top Destinations in Europe to Visit.
Ever since I started the Wanderlust Travel and Photos Blog, I have wanted to get a regular travel video series started so that I can bring you even more travel related content. I am very excited to announce that this past week I finally launched my “Start Exploring Today” travel vlog series to both IGTV and Youtube. This is a project that I am very passionate about and I cannot wait to start adding more high quality video content for you to view. I am still going to be running this blog with all of the passion and commitment that I have been for the past three years, but my hope is to use this video series to bring you new and exciting content that is just too difficult to deliver thru my blog.
Travel can be one of the most rewarding experiences you have in your life. Few other things in this world help broaden your perspective and teach you as much about the world and yourself as travel does. On the flip side, travel can also be very difficult and stressful at times. We have likely all had travel experiences that made us wonder if we’d ever get back out there and explore ever again. However, even the worst parts about travel don’t have to be that difficult or stressful. One way that you can help reduce the amount of stress that you feel when you travel and help you enjoy the experiences you have more is to have the right travel accessories with you on your trip. Having the right accessories can make you more comfortable, keep your belongings safe, and help you capture and save the special moments of your journey.
I like to say to my friends and family that I think I was born into this world far too late. I have a burning desire inside of me to explore and there are very few places in this world that haven’t already been explored. Having read books about Livingstone’s exploration of Africa and Lewis and Clark’s exploration of the American Northwest, I think it would have been so amazing to venture out into the unknown, not knowing what you would see or what experiences you would have. However, while I may not be the first to explore the amazing landscapes on this planet, that doesn’t mean that experiencing and exploring them won’t help me expand my horizons and grow as a person. That’s why I like to keep a travel bucket list of the travel adventures I want to have before I die. By sharing this list with you, I hope to ignite in you some of the passion for travel and exploration that I have burning inside of me.
Let’s face it, in many aspects the year 2020 was an absolutely miserable year. Tens of millions of people around the world were infected with the Coronavirus and millions of people lost their lives. Even for those who managed to avoid getting sick, our lives were thrown into turmoil as countries shut down, quarantines were put into place, and our daily routines were largely effected. However, now that the calendar has turned and vaccinations are starting to get rolled out, it seems like the long nightmare of 2020 may soon finally be behind us.
