In this installment of my list of the 100 Best National Parks in the World for Travelers to Visit, I continue covering some of the world’s most incredible parklands. To give you a sense of how diverse the parks that I have ranked in the 61-80 segment of my list, you will find parks from six different continents in this installment.
In this installment of the 100 Best National Parks in the World for Travelers to Visit, I am going to cover the first group of parks that I think travelers should have on their radar. Even though these are the 81-100 ranked parks on my list, it doesn’t mean these parks are any less spectacular than the parks that I have ranked higher. In fact, there are several parks in this group that I have enjoyed visiting multiple times because I love them so much.

Out of all of the beautiful parklands the country has, the most well-known may be the stunning Aoraki\Mount Cook National Park.
There are a lot of amazing adventures to be had on New Zealand’s South Island. Milford Sound and the Milford Track is something that every traveler should experience, the city of Wanaka is home to quite a few of New Zealand’s most infamous hiking tracks, and the city of Queenstown is known across the globe as the “adventure capital of the world”. However, none of these adventure locations in New Zealand are quite as unique or as special as the Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers on the west coast of the South Island.
Wanaka’s glacier‑fed lake, wide‑open skies, and mountain silhouettes create an immediate sense of calm, making it one of the South Island’s most inviting destinations.
