Experiencing the majestic Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro is nothing short of breathtaking. Towering at 98 feet, this iconic monument stands atop the Corcovado Mountain, offering panoramic views of the vibrant city below. The sight of the statue, arms outstretched in a welcoming embrace, evokes a sense of awe and reverence, making it a must-visit landmark for travelers from around the globe.
As I look back on my adventures this past year, I am excited to share a collection of my top travel photos of 2024. I have been fortunate enough to visit some incredible destinations this year and I am extremely proud of the engaging photographs that I took. From the vibrant streets of Rio de Janeiro to the serene landscapes of the Amazon Rainforest, there was a lot of beauty for me to capture this year.
One of the most incredible wildlife experiences I have had while traveling was seeing the amazing pink Amazon River dolphins in Brazil. During my stay in Manaus, in the Brazilian Amazon, I took several boat rides on the Amazon River. On a few occasions, we saw these incredible creatures up close.
Each year I say that I could not be more blessed with the opportunities that I have had to travel the world. Not to mention, the ability to photograph the spectacular places I visit. And each year I am reminded that I have just started to scratch the surface of all the incredible things that are waiting to be explored in the world. I am beyond grateful for having the opportunity to travel to these amazing places. Beyond that, I am even more excited to be able to share my top travel photos of 2023 with you.
I know I talk about it a lot on my blog, but I am absolutely in love with the continent of Africa. The incredibly kind people, the gorgeous landscapes, and the amazing wildlife of the continent make it one of the most incredible places on Earth. Even though I had been to Africa before and knew how wonderfully rewarding this trip would be, our trip to South Africa, Botswana, and Zimbabwe even surpassed my expectations. As I present my top travel photos of 2022 to you, I hope these wonderful images inspire you to visit the beautiful continent of Africa in the near future.
