However, as beautiful as Iguazu Falls are, they can be equally challenging to photograph. Use Shutter Priority Mode

When capturing the breathtaking beauty of Iguazu Falls, one effective technique is to utilize Shutter Priority Mode on your camera. This setting allows you to control the shutter speed while the camera automatically adjusts the aperture for optimal exposure. However, if you plan on taking a boat tour under the falls, you will need to have a waterproof camera like a GoPro with you. These boats get you absolutely drenched, which can destroy any camera or phone that isn’t waterproof. You won’t want to miss out on capturing closeups of the falls, so make sure you pack a GoPro for your trip.

Protect Your Gear from Water

The last tip that I have for you in this Iguazu Falls photography guide is to be sure to protect your equipment from getting wet. Even if you don’t take a boat tour under the falls, you will get wet from the mist on some of the walkways closer to the falls. In some spots, you can get very wet.
