Niagara Falls from the Observation Tower

One of my top travel photos of 2025 captures is one I captured from the Observation Tower on the American side of Niagra Falls. The sheer power and beauty of the cascading water are mesmerizing, and the vantage point offers a unique perspective that truly showcases the falls’ grandeur. This moment not only highlights the natural wonder of Niagara Falls but also serves as a reminder of the incredible experiences that travel can bring.

Horseshoe Falls from the Skylon Tower

Another of my favorite photos of Niagara Falls is one that I took of the Horseshoe Falls from the incredible Skylon Tower on the Canadian side. This elevated view offers a breathtaking panoramic view that allows you to really appreciate the grandeur of the falls. The vibrant colors of the surrounding landscape, combined with the mist rising from the falls, create a stunning backdrop that makes this moment unforgettable.

The Iconic Horseshoe Falls

As breathtaking as the Horseshoe Falls is from above, it is equally as stunning from ground level. In fact, from down low you can truly appreciate the power of this incredible water fall. I love this photograph I took of the Horseshoe Falls during my stay at Niagara Falls, as it showcases the boat tours that head up to the falls. It’s a stunning display that makes this one of my top travel photos of 2025.

The American Falls

While the Horseshoe Falls may get most of the glory, the American Falls at Niagara Falls is spectacular to see and photograph too. In fact, there is a walkway that you can use to get up close and personal with the American Falls, which makes it one of the top experiences for visitors to Niagara Falls to have. You can get so close that you get absolutely drenched from the large clouds of mist from the falls.

Hallgrimskirkja

During my 2025 travels, one of the standout moments was capturing the stunning Hallgrimskirkja in Reykjavik, Iceland. This iconic church, with its striking architecture and towering presence, perfectly embodies the unique charm of the city. The photo I took showcases the intricate details of its façade against a backdrop of the dramatic Icelandic sky, highlighting the contrast between the modern structure and the natural beauty surrounding it.

Gullfoss Waterfall

Iceland is home to many incredible waterfalls, and the breathtaking Gullfoss Waterfall is one of the most popular. Located along the iconic Golden Circle route, this beautiful waterfall is a can’t-miss stop when visiting Iceland. The sheer power of the cascading water, combined with the surrounding rugged landscape, creates a stunning visual that leaves a lasting impression. As I stood there, the mist from the falls enveloped me, and the sound of rushing water filled the air, making it a moment I will never forget.

Þingvellir National Park

Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, provided the perfect backdrop for another of my top travel photos of 2025. Dettifoss Waterfall

Iceland is renowned for its incredible waterfalls, and the largest and most impressive of these waterfalls is undoubtedly the amazing Dettifoss. Known as Europe’s most powerful waterfall, its thundering cascades created a mesmerizing spectacle that left me in awe. The sheer force of the water crashing down into the canyon, surrounded by rugged landscapes, made for an unforgettable photo opportunity.

Stuðlagil Canyon

Stuðlagil Canyon, with its stunning basalt columns and vibrant turquoise waters, was a highlight of my travels in 2025. Capturing this breathtaking landscape was a challenge, but the moment I clicked the shutter, I knew I had something special. The interplay of light and shadow on the canyon walls created a mesmerizing effect, making the scene feel almost otherworldly.
