Because the Galápagos is such an important and fragile ecosystem, there are many protections in place to prevent the ecosystem from getting spoiled. This is a good thing, as it is very important for us to preserve this beautiful place. However, it does mean that more planning needs to go into preparing a trip to the Galápagos then other destinations you might decide to visit.
The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is one of the most famous wildlife habitats in the world. This large park in Northern Tanzania, along with its sister park (the Masai Mara) in Kenya, plays a pivotal role in the great wildebeest migration. This great migration, which also features zebra, gazelle, and other grazing animals, brings over two million grass feeders thru the parks as they follow the rains each year. It is quite an unbelievable spectacle to behold.
Without any doubt, the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is one of the most amazing places I have ever visited. Nowhere else in this world can you find such an abundance of wildlife, all within a relatively small location, to view all year round. Beyond the sheer beauty of the crater itself, that is what makes the Ngorongoro Crater so special. More than anywhere else, you are almost guaranteed to see the wildlife you came to see when you visit Ngorongoro.
When we took our trip to Tanzania a few years ago, we really wanted to visit Zanzibar while we were there because we had heard such amazing things about the island. We were not disappointed. Between the wonderful people we met, the beautiful landscapes around the island, and the interesting foods that we got to try, it was an amazing experience. One that we are glad we were able to have, and one that we will never soon forget.
One of the largest castles in Ireland, the Cahir Castle is also one of the prettiest. One of the things we loved the most about this castle is the lack of crowds. It isn’t as notorious with tourists as some of Ireland’s other castles (the Rock of Cashel is just 30 minutes away), so you rarely have to battle large crowds to get access to parts of the castle or have to wait for people to clear to get good pictures.

Located near the city of Cork in Southern Ireland, the Blarney Castle is one of the most famous castles in Ireland. Built by one of Ireland’s most powerful and influential chieftans, Cormac McCarthy roughly 600 years ago, the castle attracts droves of visitors to this day. Much of that has to do with the legendary Blarney Stone, which is said to give you the gift of eloquence upon kissing it.
If you have seen the Game of Thrones, you are probably familiar with the Dark Hedges. This location was featured prominently in the highly popular HBO series. If you are a big fan of the show, or if you just want to see this amazing grove of trees in person for yourself, then this is the guide for you.
Until I visited Belfast, I didn’t truly realize just how amazing the city really is. It is a city that is steeped in history, and so much of that history can still be explored. When I visited, I felt like I was taking a trip back in time thru some of Europe’s most historical moments. This is one of the things that makes the city of Belfast so special.
Dublin is such an amazing city with an amazing history. With such an amazing and storied history, it may come as a surprise to you that Dublin actually has the youngest population in all of Europe. In fact, over half of the population of Dublin is under the age of 25. With this youthful undercurrent, Dublin can be an exciting place to visit and explore. It is definitely one of my favorite destinations that I have visited.
