Our Thoughts
Located in County Cork on the South West Coast of Ireland, Old Head Golf Course is simply a must-play if you are planning a golf trip to Ireland. The stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean crashing against the cliffs can be seen on all eighteen holes, and nine of the holes play along the cliff tops.
The sea breeze definitely plays a factor and it changes directions frequently. The course will challenge even the best players, but the multiple tee options allow the course to be fun for all.

Signature Hole – Hole 12
One of the most jaw-dropping holes on the planet! This par five plays 564 yards from the back three tees. On this hole, you get a very real, and intimidating, sense of the magnitude of your surroundings as you gaze at an uphill tee shot to a fairway draped on Old Head’s cliffs with the ocean crashing on either side.
