One of the most amazingly scenic golf courses that I’ve had the fortune of playing was Ko’Olau Golf Club. The course is located in Kaneohe on the island of Oahu and is set at the base of the Ko’olau Mountain range.

Our Thoughts
The course is billed by some as the toughest golf course in the world (it’s just over 7,300 yards from the back tees but plays at a 78.2 rating). The views are spectacular and the course was both beautiful and fun. I would highly recommend those looking for a round of golf while visiting Oahu to give Ko’Olau a shot.
Signature Hole – Hole 18
With two forced carries and extremely challenging bunkers protecting the green, hole 18 is without-a-doubt the most challenging hole on one of the world’s most challenging courses. If you aim right off the tee you will make the hole shorter, but you will also increase the yardage you will need to carry. This hole requires an awful lot of strategy, which is what makes it so difficult.
