Southern White Rhinos at Sunset

Having been on safari in four different African countries, I have been fortunate enough to experience many incredible wildlife moments. While I treasure each and every one of them, I do not know that I will ever have an experience as profoundly beautiful and moving as seeing two endangered Southern White Rhinos at sunset in the Greater Kruger National Park area.
We were finishing up a day safari in the Balule Game Reserve in the Central Kruger National Park area and were looking for a nice spot to take some sunset pictures. Out of pure luck, we happened to come across two beautiful white rhinos feeding near the gravel road. After positioning ourselves with the breathtaking African sunset behind them, we took about a million photographs of these incredible animals. It is an experience I will never forget.
