Travel Journal – Blown Away by Amazing Da Nang, Vietnam

After touring Chiang Mai in Thailand, the next stop on our trip was to the incredible city of Da Nang, Vietnam. This coastal city is the third largest city in Vietnam and is home to a number of breathtaking sights!

Our first stop was to Sun World at Ba Na Hills. Think Disney World, except on the side of a jungle-clad mountain. The place is incredible! Without a doubt, my favorite part was seeing the infamous Golden Bridge, which is otherwise known as the “Hands of God Bridge”.

After touring the Ba Na Hills area, we headed to Marble Mountain to see the large Buddha on top of the mountain. It was incredible! I have learned so much about the Buddhist religion on this trip, which I have really enjoyed. I love learning about different cultures.

Finally, our last stop was to Monkey Mountain. This coastal mountain has a beautiful temple and Buddha statue on it. However, it is named monkey mountain because you will typically find monkeys on the top near the temple.
