After months of planning and years of anticipation, I am finally heading to the continent of Asia. If you have been following my travels for a while, you likely know that Asia and Antarctica are the two continents that I have yet to visit. After this trip, it will be only Antarctica. That’s why I am so glad to be finally getting to write a Southeast Asia travel blog article entry.
While I wish I had months to explore Southeast Asia, I will have to make do with a few weeks for this trip. We won’t get to see everything that we would like to see in Southeast Asia, but we will get to knock a number of big bucket list items off of our list. For instance, for years I have been wanting to visit the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand and Angkor Wat in Cambodia. I will finally get to see both of those places on this trip.
Follow Along with my Southeast Asia Adventure!
In this Southeast Asia travel blog post, I am going to outline what you can expect from me in terms of updates as I travel. However, before I do, please feel free to check out the two blog posts that I had previously posted about my travel planning for this Southeast Asia trip.

Starting to Plan Our Trip to Southeast Asia |
On our 15-day Southeast Asia trip, we will be exploring Bangkok, Chaing Mai, and Phuket in the country of Thailand, Siem Reap in Cambodia, and the city of Da Nang in Vietnam. I have included a map that outlines our itinerary for you to review below if interested.
Over the next two weeks, I hope to provide a number of Southeast Asia travel blog posts outlining our experiences on this trip. In addition, I will also be tweeting about my adventures and posting some of my favorite photographs on Instagram and Facebook. If you aren’t following me on social media yet, I have included links to my accounts below.
That’s it for now! It will take us a few days to get to Chaing Mai, which is the first real stop on our Southeast Asia travel adventure. As soon as I get settled, I will be sure to start checking in with blog posts here and posts on my social media accounts. Until then, safe travels!
