We reached our troop after about an hour of hiking, and our guides signaled for us to proceed slowly. It is hard to overstate the adrenaline that hits you when you step through bamboo to find yourself mere feet from these amazing creatures, knowing that if they could trample you if they wanted. The gorillas did not seem to care that we were there and allowed us to watch as they ate and played.

The namesake course, Bandon Dunes, offers the most amazing scenery of the group, and arguably the country.
One of the more fascinating things we learned while we were in Africa is the relationship between the cape buffalo and the ox pecker. These two animals couldn’t be more different, but yet they have a close relationship in the wild.
Pebble Beach is ranked as the best public golf course in America, and one of the most beautiful courses in the world. The course runs along the shore of Carmel Bay and offers scenic views ofthe bay on several holes.
The course features numerous memorable holes including postcard opportunities at the coastal par 3’s. In the end, Whistling Straits is an incredible golf course with one of the finest settings in the United States.
This seal pup is so darn cute it is hard not to feel bad for it as it searches for its mother on the beach in La Jolla, CA. Pup season is from mid December thru mid May and pups are often left alone for up to 24 hours while their mothers search for food.
A cute video we took in Rwanda of two juvenile Mountain Gorillas wrestling. We were trekking through Volcanoes National Park in northwestern Rwanda. There are only around 7 groups of mountain gorillas left in Rwanda, so they are still extremely endangered.
Located in County Cork on the South West Coast of Ireland, Old Head Golf Course is simply a must play if you are planning a golf trip to Ireland. The stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean crashing against the cliffs can be seen on all eighteen holes, and nine of the holes play along the cliff tops.
One of the most amazingly scenic golf courses that I’ve had the fortune of playing was Ko’Olau Golf Club. The course is located in Kaneohe on the island of Oahu and is set at the base of the Ko’olau Mountain range.
