When looking at the futuristic wonderland that the city of Dubai is today, it is hard to imagine that as recently as 1991 there was only one skyscraper in the city. Today, the city is home to the world’s tallest four and five start hotels. The government has spent a lot of money ensuring that the city of Dubai is known for its tourism industry as much as it is for oil, and the result is one of the most incredibly modern and amazing cities on the planet. I mean, the city literally has ATM machines that dish out gold instead of cash. Who wouldn’t want to visit an incredible city like that?
In this KÜHL Konfidant Air Pants review, I am going to give you my feedback on how well these pants performed for me during one of my most recent outdoor adventures. I took these pants on a 6-mile hike on one of Wisconsin’s most difficult hiking trails that required a great deal of rock scrambling and even some rock climbing. I will discuss my thoughts on the comfort, durability, performance, fit, and cost of these pants. There are a number of spectacularly beautiful backcountry hikes that you can take in the Southern Utah area, but my favorite is undoubtedly the hike to Reflection Canyon in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. While it is one of the most breathtaking hikes that you will find in the area, it is also one of the most difficult. There is no marked trail to help you navigate the roughly 15-mile round trip hike thru slot canyons and deep washes, and shelter from the blistering sun is almost non-existent. That’s why I believe this trail earns every bit of the “Difficult” rating that it has been given. The awe-inspiring beauty of Reflection Canyon is definitely something that all backcountry hikers should see in their lifetime, but it is important that you are prepared for this hike before setting out. Planning a road trip across the United States to visit some of the country’s beautiful national parks is a time honored tradition for many Americans, and something that draws visitors from around the world to the country each year to enjoy. The United States is filled with many beautiful park lands that showcase all different types of incredible landscapes. In my opinion, one of the most underrated national park lands in the United States is the breathtaking Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado. In putting together this Great Sand Dunes Guide, I had little trouble thinking of amazing things for visitors to see and do within this unique and beautiful park.
Like myself, I am sure most of your adventure travelers could use a little bit of good news right about now. While this isn’t necessarily breaking news, I do have some very good news to share with you none-the-less. As of December 27, 2020, the United States has a brand new national park. New River Gorge in the state of West Virginia has become West Virginia’s first national parkland and the nation’s 63rd protected land to get the national park designation.
