I made it into Los Angeles last night, and the difference in weather was quite welcome. It’s amazing what feels warm to you when you are coming from -26 temperatures.

The Galápagos Islands are one of this world’s most famous, and alluring, wildlife destinations. Ever since Charles Darwin visited the islands and documented the diversity of wildlife and wrote his theory of Evolution, people have been flocking to the islands to get a first-hand look at this amazing ecosystem.
From the giant Whale sharks that flock to the outer islands in droves, to the amazingly large schools of hammerhead sharks, to the fun and playful Galápagos sea lions that can be found on and around the islands in abundance, there is no place quite like the Galápagos Islands for taking a snorkeling or scuba diving adventure.
The Galápagos Islands are an amazing place that draws photographers from around the world each year to capture its amazing landscapes and wildlife. However, as beautiful as the Galápagos Islands are, they can also be fairly challenging to capture in photographs. The weather, rocking boats, and the remoteness of the islands are just some of the many challenges that photographers face when they travel to the Galápagos.
The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is one of the most famous wildlife habitats in the world. This large park in Northern Tanzania, along with its sister park (the Masai Mara) in Kenya, plays a pivotal role in the great wildebeest migration. This great migration, which also features zebra, gazelle, and other grazing animals, brings over two million grass feeders thru the parks as they follow the rains each year. It is quite an unbelievable spectacle to behold.
Nowhere else in this world can you find such an abundance of wildlife, all within a relatively small location, to view all year round. Beyond the sheer beauty of the crater itself, that is what makes the Ngorongoro Crater so special. More than anywhere else, you are almost guaranteed to see the wildlife you came to see when you visit Ngorongoro.
While Arusha National Park may not be the biggest national park in Tanzania, it does have a lot of beautiful landscapes and wonderful animals for visitors to enjoy. That, along with its very convenient location next to one of Tanzania’s largest cities, makes it a popular destination for tourists visiting Tanzania.
When we took our trip to Tanzania a few years ago, we really wanted to visit Zanzibar while we were there because we had heard such amazing things about the island. We were not disappointed. Between the wonderful people we met, the beautiful landscapes around the island, and the interesting foods that we got to try, it was an amazing experience.
If you are in the planning stages for going on safari, let me first tell you how excited I am for you, as this will be an experience you will treasure for a lifetime. For those of you who might not be immediately planning on going on safari, but are interested, let me tell you with every fiber on my being that you should make that dream come true. The sacrifices to get there and go on safari are worth it a thousand times over.
Lake Manyara National Park was the first park that we went on safari in during our visit to Tanzania.
