The region of Southeast Asia is home to a wealth of breathtaking and fascinating travel destinations. In this guide to Chiang Mai, Thailand, I am going to show you why this mountainous city in the country’s north has long been considered one of the region’s top destinations. It is Thailand’s second largest city and is home to over 300 different Buddhist temples. Because of this, the city has been nicknamed the “Temple Capital of Thailand”.
In addition to the staggering number of spectacular temples to explore, the city also has some of the most delicious food in the world for visitors to enjoy. With daily markets around town, finding freshly cooked, authentic Thai food is never difficult. Not to mention, because Chiang Mai is one of the most affordable places to visit in the world, shopping and eating out every day won’t break the bank.

Southeast Asia is one of the most incredible regions of the world to explore. With breathtaking coastlines, beautiful temples and pagodas, and some of the most culture-rich cities in the world, it is a favorite region for many travelers. However, with hot temperatures and monsoon rains, it can also be difficult for travelers who aren’t prepared. That is why I created this ultimate Southeast Asia packing guide to help make sure you are prepared.

The final destination that we explored on our Southeast Asia adventure was the incredible city of Phuket, Thailand, and all of the surrounding islands. Without a doubt, it is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever visited.

After months of planning and years of anticipation, I am finally heading to the continent of Asia. While I wish I had months to explore Southeast Asia, I will have to make do with a few weeks for this trip. In this Southeast Asia travel blog post, I am going to outline what you can expect from me in terms of updates as I travel.

After visiting beautiful Vietnam, the next stop on our Southeast Asia adventure was a destination I have been dreaming of visiting for years. The incredible temple of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia is spectacular, and I am so happy I got to see it.

After touring Chiang Mai in Thailand, the next stop on our trip was to the incredible city of Da Nang, Vietnam. This coastal city is the third largest city in Vietnam and is home to a number of breathtaking sights!

Our first stop on our incredible Southeast Asia adventure was the amazing city of Chiang Mai, Thailand. We explored a number of amazing temples, national parklands, the incredible Sunday night market, and ate some amazing food.

In many ways, Great Basin National Park is a park of extremes. The difference between the park’s highest point and lowest point is a staggering 6,235 feet (1,900 meters). While the lower valley is mostly a desert landscape, the mountainous areas of the park are home to some of the oldest trees on the planet. Some of these amazing bristlecone pine trees are over 4,000 years old. It’s just another reason why the Great Basin National Park is so incredible.

If you are traveling to Cambodia from outside of the country, you should be aware of the Cambodia entrance requirements for visitors before you start planning your travel. If you do not meet the passport, VISA, or immunization requirements, you could be denied entry into Cambodia. This is not something that I would wait until the last minute to take care of as you might not have enough time to sort out any issues at the last minute should you run into them.
