The Galápagos Islands is one of this world’s top tourist destinations. The Galápagos Islands are one of this world’s most famous, and alluring, wildlife destinations. Ever since Charles Darwin visited the islands and documented the diversity of wildlife and wrote his theory of Evolution, people have been flocking to the islands to get a first-hand look at this amazing ecosystem. Not only do the Galápagos Islands have a staggering array of marine wildlife in its waters, but there are also a wide variety of birds, reptiles, and mammals found on the islands themselves.

The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is one of the most famous wildlife habitats in the world. This large park in Northern Tanzania, along with its sister park (the Masai Mara) in Kenya, plays a pivotal role in the great wildebeest migration. This great migration, which also features zebra, gazelle, and other grazing animals, brings over two million grass feeders thru the parks as they follow the rains each year. It is quite an unbelievable spectacle to behold.
Without any doubt, the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is one of the most amazing places I have ever visited. Nowhere else in this world can you find such an abundance of wildlife, all within a relatively small location, to view all year round. Beyond the sheer beauty of the crater itself, that is what makes the Ngorongoro Crater so special. More than anywhere else, you are almost guaranteed to see the wildlife you came to see when you visit Ngorongoro.
When we took our trip to Tanzania a few years ago, we really wanted to visit Zanzibar while we were there because we had heard such amazing things about the island. We were not disappointed. Between the wonderful people we met, the beautiful landscapes around the island, and the interesting foods that we got to try, it was an amazing experience. One that we are glad we were able to have, and one that we will never soon forget.
