The Definitive Pinnacles National Park Guide

The Definitive Pinnacles National Park Guide

Even though it is one of the smallest parks in America’s national parks system, Pinnacles National Park is renown for its breathtaking landscapes and relatively large population of California Condors. Located in central California, roughly 125-miles south of San Francisco and just west of the beautiful Big Sur coastline, Pinnacles National Park may be one of the most underrated national parks in the United States because of its location. Being in such close proximity to so many other larger and equally gorgeous parks, Pinnacles National Park is often overlooked by visitors to California looking to get out and explore the state’s beauty. However, in my Pinnacles National Park guide, I am going to show you why overlooking this amazing park the next time you visit the Golden State would be a mistake.

Travel can be one of the most rewarding experiences you have in your life. Few other things in this world help broaden your perspective and teach you as much about the world and yourself as travel does. On the flip side, travel can also be very difficult and stressful at times. We have likely all had travel experiences that made us wonder if we’d ever get back out there and explore ever again. New River Gorge – America’s Newest National Park

Like myself, I am sure most of your adventure travelers could use a little bit of good news right about now. New River Gorge in the state of West Virginia has become West Virginia’s first national parkland and the nation’s 63rd protected land to get the national park designation.

My Travel Bucket List – 2021 Edition

My Travel Bucket List – 2021 Edition

I like to say to my friends and family that I think I was born into this world far too late. I have a burning desire inside of me to explore and there are very few places in this world that haven’t already been explored. Having read books about Livingstone’s exploration of Africa and Lewis and Clark’s exploration of the American Northwest, I think it would have been so amazing to venture out into the unknown, not knowing what you would see or what experiences you would have. However, while I may not be the first to explore the amazing landscapes on this planet, that doesn’t mean that experiencing and exploring them won’t help me expand my horizons and grow as a person. That’s why I like to keep a travel bucket list of the travel adventures I want to have before I die. By sharing this list with you, I hope to ignite in you some of the passion for travel and exploration that I have burning inside of me.

If you are looking to get back out and explore, here is a list of the 30 best places to travel in 2021

Let’s face it, in many aspects the year 2020 was an absolutely miserable year. Tens of millions of people around the world were infected with the Coronavirus and millions of people lost their lives. Even for those who managed to avoid getting sick, our lives were thrown into turmoil as countries shut down, quarantines were put into place, and our daily routines were largely effected. Many industries have been critically effected by the shutdowns, quarantines, and restrictions, and one of those that was hardest hit was the travel and tourism industry. With most countries closing their borders, airlines, hotels, restaurants, and tourism-centered businesses have really struggled to stay afloat. However, now that the calendar has turned and vaccinations are starting to get rolled out, it seems like the long nightmare of 2020 may soon finally be behind us. In anticipation of international travel opening back up, I have outlined some of my Top 2021 Travel Destinations to start inspiring you to travel again.

Snowshoe Gear Guide for Adventure Travelers

Snowshoe Gear Guide for Adventure Travelers

If you follow my blog closely, you probably know that one of my biggest travel passions is exploring beautiful wilderness locations. Often times, that involves long hikes or climbs, but when I visit snowy cold weather locations, my favorite way of exploring is by snowshoeing. While hiking does require some equipment, such as adequate hiking boots or shoes to stay safe, snowshoeing requires quite a bit more equipment. Beyond the obvious need for snowshoes themselves, in order to be safe and comfortable while snowshoeing, one needs to make sure they have a myriad of other equipment with them. That is why I decided to create this snowshoe gear guide to assist eager explorers such as yourself.

My Best Travel Photos from 2020

My Best Travel Photos from 2020

At the end of each year, I like to take a retrospective look back at my travels and the best travel photos that I took throughout the year. Not only does this allow me to reminisce about my year of travels, but it is also a great way to grow as a photographer. You learn a lot about what works and doesn’t work with your photography by going back and reviewing the photographs that you take. For instance, which lenses worked and didn’t work in certain situations, which photography techniques you deployed in certain situations that either enhanced your photographs or maybe didn’t work out the way that you expected. Even the bad photographs that you take can help you learn how to be a better photographer moving forward.

The Definitive Amalfi Coast Visitor Guide

The Definitive Amalfi Coast Visitor Guide

There are a number of absolutely breathtaking stretches of coastline in this world. The stretch of coastline on Australia’s Great Ocean Road, the stretch of coastline off of the state of Oregon in the United States, the infamous Milford Sound and surrounding area on New Zealand’s south island, and Ireland’s coastline near the Cliffs of Moher are just some examples of beautiful coastal stretches that will make your jaw drop when you see them. However, one of my absolute favorite stretches of coastline in this world is undoubtedly the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy. With its seemingly endless stretch of coastal mountains, rows of lemon trees and other citrus fruits, beautiful cities built on the coastal bluffs, and gorgeous beaches that you will never want to leave, it is no wonder that the Amalfi Coast is a favorite playground for the rich and famous. This is why I was so excited to put together my Amalfi Coast Visitor Guide to share with you.
